2017 STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGN
Dear Church Family,
On Sunday, October 23rd, I had the privilege to share a new vision for the next seven years of our shared ministry at Dayspring. I hope that you were able to join us to hear about the life-changing work that I believe God wants to accomplish through our church! If you were unable to attend, please take a few minutes to watch the message below named “RENEW”. We believe that you will be inspired by the vision God has given us for an exciting future and the opportunity to have an eternal impact in Tyler and beyond!
As we continue our planning to achieve God’s call on our church, I want to highlight something I shared during that message: “God’s vision for our church won’t be accomplished by adding a multitude of staff persons or by launching dozens of new programming opportunities. It can only be accomplished when each of us offers our whole life to Christ and commit to grow together as followers of Jesus.”
As we begin our stewardship campaign this year, we are taking a whole-life approach to stewarding the gifts that God has given us. In addition to stewarding our financial resources, we want to be good stewards of our time, energy and talents as we move toward God’s plan for Dayspring. We believe God has a perfect plan for Dayspring and for the important role we will each play in executing that plan.
We ask that you and your families begin praying as you thoughtfully consider joining us in this walk of faith as we invest in the Next season of God’s work at Dayspring. As people who have been blessed by God in so many ways, we each have an opportunity to return that blessing to the One who has been so generous toward us. Stewardship is an opportunity to invest in God’s plan and we believe that He will use our gifts to bless our community and the Dayspring family. The financial commitment we make will help Dayspring plan effectively to accomplish God’s purposes throughout the Dayspring Diamond in 2017 and will change lives and the kingdom for years to come.
In the coming days, you will be mailed a “2017 Commitment Card.” On Sunday, November 13th , we will take a few moments during worship to pray together and commit ourselves to the work God will do through Dayspring in 2017. Please bring your Commitment Card to worship on the 13th . If you are unable to join us on that day, you can mail your commitment card to our church office, submit a commitment below or come by the church any time to deliver your card in person (and have a cup of coffee!).
I look forward to all that the Holy Spirit will do with our resources as we offer our lives and our Church to God! It’s an honor and a privilege to be your pastor; I’m blessed every day by your faithfulness!
I love the Dayspring Family!
