Pete’s family is a top priority in his life. His wife and sons have been and continue to be a source of growth, encouragement and great blessing . Pete has been married to his beautiful wife Sharon for 40 years. They have two adult sons, Matthew and Stephen, whose lives are a daily reminder of how God’s grace and blessing are without limits. Pete is also an avid sports fan (especially baseball) and enjoys spending time rooting for his favorite teams (Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics, Cowboys, etc.). His favorite pastime, though, is studying God’s Word.
Pete loves to learn, especially when it includes gleaning from the great life lessons contained in the Bible. This desire to learn comes with a passion to share what he has learned with others. Ultimately, helping others to grow in their personal faith is one of Pete’s greatest blessings. Having been formally trained as an educator he has attempted to seize on the teaching and mentoring opportunities that have been afforded to him over the past 35+ years. It is Pete’s belief that God has been utilizing the gifts, passions, and experiences to help him answer his calling by ministering to small groups and volunteers here at Dayspring.
