Robert furthers Dayspring’s mission through teaching, adult education, and preaching at both campuses, and he seeks opportunities to help our members deepen, strengthen, and understand their faith in Christ in new and encouraging ways. He has led classes on C. S. Lewis, the writings of Paul, the Gospels, the doctrine of the Trinity, the ecumenical creeds, theological foundations, and more. He also serves Dayspring as Lay Delegate to the Texas Annual Conference in addition to serving on Church Council and the leadership team for The Vine, Dayspring’s adult discipleship program.
Robert works in theological publishing as an acquisitions editor for Kregel Academic and Ministry, and he also teaches theology, philosophy, and ethics at LeTourneau University’s School of Theology and Vocation and philosophy and religion at the University of Texas at Tyler. He has also worked with the ministries of Tim Keller, InterVarsity Press, and others, and he has received grants from the John Templeton Foundation and Princeton Theological Seminary for teaching and research. Robert and his wife, Michele, live in Tyler with their daughters, Genevieve and Emmi, and they have all enjoyed serving on the launch team for Dayspring’s Flint campus.
